I accepted a job offer that included relocation assistance. This was stated in my offer letter. After 6 weeks, my new company has failed to provide me with any assistance or even the process of obtaining any. Now our main customer has cancelled the contract and this facility will close as of May first of this year. I interviewed with this customer as they had to approve my hiring. (I'm the General Manager) I have been told that the customer knew they were going to cancel the contract at the time they interviewed me, but someone "goofed" and my offer was tendered anyway, and I accepted. I'm out of pocket my temporary living expenses, and I also turned down two other offers. (I have offer letters to back this up) Do I have any recourse.
