My mom was demoted from salary to $11 dollars a hour on her 90 day probation period for having pneumonia with a doctors note. She kept going to work but kept getting more sick. Doctor wanted her to stay home for 5 days .Is this legal??
My mom was demoted from being a goodwill manager on salary to working nights for $11 a hour. She has pneumonia and also has a doctors note for 5 days. She’s also on her 90 day probation period. They said managers aren’t supposed to call off sick or take PTO even if they have it because it shows they aren’t responsible. Is this legal in Arizona??
