My employer terminated me on 9/23. They paid me and now they are claiming they paid me for 2 weeks instead of 1 (I was salaried). They want me to write them a check for what they say is excess. Am I legally obligated to pay them?
I was terminated on 9/23. My employer paid me and now is calling and stating they overpaid me. They want me to write them a check. They stated they paid for 2 weeks and only owed for 1. Am I legally obligated to pay them for the 1 week?
