My employer is ending PTO. They state they will buy back unused hours at $.25 on the dollar. I'm in Florida. Is this legal. I have 400 hours of PTO

New CEO is changing things. No more PTO will be earned. But employees like me have earned several hours that tops off at 400 hours. I have yet to have any chance to use it all. Now they are making an offer of $.25 cents on the dollar.

Not if it is accrued. You have a legal right to force a full 100% payout, but you have no right to continued employment so you will have to consider the potential consequences of forcing the employer to pay. Best of luck.
