Manager creating ill will between myself and other employees at work.

I was recently informed that a manager told an employee just before she was terminated that I was telling people at work about her personal business and disciplinary actions. The employee was eventually terminated shortly thereafter. The employee and I are friends and she warned me that our supervisor was telling her that it was me specifically telling other employees this information. The employee also said she was trying very to get her to say it could only have been me before telling her my name. There have been many other odd comments directed to me by this supervisor whom I thought of as a friend and finding this out today has been very upsetting. My supervisor also told me one night that I had used my FMLA as a crutch. Is this something a supervisor can do? The supervisor has never talked to me directly about this either. Do I have any recourse? At this point its becoming too much and starting to affect my work and health. This is a virtual workplace. Work from home.
