Is my non-competition restrictive covenant enforceable?

I am a residential property manager with a real estate brokerage in Hampton Roads (southside). I am unhappy w/ my current company & am being recruited by another real estate brokerage. I just realized that my employment contract has a non-competition clause that prohibits me from working as a residential property manager in Norfolk Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and/or Suffolk w/ another real esate brokerage for a period of 6 months.

Most real estate firms in this area work either in those 5 cities only or in the outlying areas only & I specialize in residential property management & am not really qualified to do commercial management or residential sales.

I feel as though the geographic restrictions are overly harsh, as I would have to move, commute extremely far and/or change industries altogether based on what I'm reading.

Do you think my clause would be enforceable in Virginia?
