Is it legal for a company to sign a non-competite with another company without employee knowledge?
I am a contractor. When I began to look for a different position, a company I applied to stated they had an agreement with my agency to not hire any of their people. Turns out my agency has this agreement with several companies, of which they will not provide me a list. The only thing I signed was a non-compete with the company to whom the agency assigned me to. I feel like I am trapped in working with this company since the job market in this area is relatively small. Do I have any options?
