Injured at work but BOSS AND UNION REP are telling others in meetings and in crew room that I'm faking and/or

Husband was injured at work last November. His shoulder tore out of socket when he fell in a man hole. The shoulder went back into place but ripped created divits in bone the doctor had to fill as well as tore his bicep. After the first surgery, there was little improvement in recovery. The insurance rep went to doctors appointment and the doctor along with insurance rep, decided to do another surgery to remove built up scar tissue. It's been almost 6 weeks and will be heading back to work in the next week or two. However, during this ordeal, the Boss and Union Rep have been telling collegues that my husband is "milking" the situation. My husband complains every day how bad he just wants to go back to work. Except, today he received a text from his boss to another co-worker confirming what the boss is spreading around. (The boss denies telling crew members my husband is faking, but now we have text to prove it)
