In Texas, can an employer deduct the credit card transaction fees from a sales person's commission?
If a customer pays for product using a credit card, is it lawful to deduct the credit card transaction fee from the commission owed the sales person on the transaction? The sales team is paid a base plus commission on product sold within their territory.
