I'm going to quit my job for a better one and I haven't taken my vacation, will i get it if I quit?

I've worked for my employer for over 1year. I have a week vacation that i need to make sure I don't lose it if I quit. I have a better job opportunity so I would really like to get and I already have the second interview. I live in Florida.

If the vacation time was not accrued, that is earned over time, then you will lose it. Even if it was accrued it may take some wrangling with the employer to pay you for that time. Recommendation would be to use it before you quit. Best of luck.
