I'm an outside vendor for a hospital chain. They said hey don't need my services anymore because I'm old and don't understand their needs.

I've been a vendor for the BayCare Health System in the Tampa area for 13 years, providing management training tools for their staff. Recently, I was told that because of my age that I might get what they're trying to accomplish.

Sounds like age discrimination, however, the issue is whether the Hospital is your employer. Companies can be deemed employers even though they may not be the entity that pays you. I recommend you explore this with counsel of your choosing. Best of luck.
