If my hire date was pushed back and my raise and vacation and sick time not given is that illegal and can i sue or bring a formal complaint

Original hire date is Oct 2014 went out on federal medical leave in June 2015 for 6 weeks was told that hire date was pushed 2 months due to my leave and I could not get it or my raise
