I worked for 30 years and accrued over 1,000 hours of long term sick time. With the new law, they wiped out all accumulated sick time, is this legal. They did not grandfather it although they said they would
Our sick time was divided into 2 banks, short and long term. Short term was out under 7 days. Long term bank could be used if out more than 7 days. I have never used the long term in 30 years. Since the new law, they said they would grandfather, but next paycheck they had removed the long term sick.
