I work for the federal government. I applied for another federal job with another agency. This position requires an extensive background check. My current supervisor was interviewed for my background check where he made false statements such as, I believe

My supervisor has made many false statements to an investigator for a background check being performed for another federal job I applied for. Saying the thought I had mental issues. That he believes I have ADD or ADHD. That I have domestic issues at home. That I have a bad attitude and cause undo hardship for my forest I work on. That I take excessive leave. Yet my time sheets and annual appraisals say the opposite. I have never been counseled or written up. What actions can I take against this person?
