I was told yesterday that my current employer sold the business. The new owner has yet to talk to us about employment all he could say for now is everything will stay the same for now. Can I draw unemployment if I am offered less money and will have to tr

lost job with current employer because sold practice now new employer cant answer any of our question on benefits- salary. if we are offered a position and our pay goes down and we are required to travel over an hour to new location do we have to take the offer or can we draw unemployment till we can find a new job. the new owner keeps saying things will stay the same for now but what does this mean for me? I just want to know what I can do? my old employer says we can not sign up for unemployment because we will have a job for at least 30 days with the new employer but after this its all on us.
