I was recently laid off with an option to receive severance if I stay on for an additional month. If I deny this option and choose to leave sooner, will I still be able to qualify for unemployment benefits?

I was laid off due to the role not being a "good fit". The company asked me to stay on for an additional period of time, after which I would receive a small severance, however the workplace environment is uncomfortable and I'd prefer to leave sooner. If I turn this offer down, will I still be able to qualify for unemployment benefits?
