I was laid off. Have a severance package w/ the stipulation that I sign their 'General Release'...

It states:
"Employee agrees to waive any right to monetary recovery should any federal, state or local administrative agency or commission pursue any claims on employees behalf arising out of or related to Employees employment with and/or separation from the company"...

"Employee agrees that he or she has terminated or will terminate employment with the company and that his or her last day of employment will be a date decided upon by the company..."

Can this take away my right for unemployment benefits?
