I signed an at-will offer that contained a non-compete. Am I bound if I renege before start date?
My current employer is listed as a competing company in a job offer non-compete. I have signed the employment offer but no longer want the job and haven't started my start date. I'm concerned that if I renege on this offer, my current job will be in jeopardy (as part of the non-compete). Can you help?
