I lost my job in a mass layoff. My separation agreement states the date I was terminated. I have a separate letter stating I was let go from a layoff and another separate sheet states my status as layoff. They have not complied with OWBPA so the contract

I have a separation agreement not complying with OWBPA. I was in a mass layoff with NO notice but they were seeking capital. They also shut down our sales force but my sales team had already
noticed they were not shipping our orders so nobody laid off was at plan to receive earned commissions for February so it's false or unknown whether the severance is beyond earned wages. Regardless of legalities it's disgusting and think they may be tricking us to sign separations to avoid unemployment. The remaining sales people received raises and credit for our sales.
