I live in the state of New Jersey. My employer decided to let me go after 13 years of employment. He was so kind as to give me 4 weeks of severence pay, but I have 14 days of vacation time. My question is are they two separate things? Or can he just roll
I live in the state of New Jersey. My employer decided to let me go after 13 years of employment. He was so kind as to give me 4 weeks of severence pay, but I have 14 days of vacation time. My question is are they two separate things? Or can he just roll it together. On the paper he gave me it did not specify my vacation time being included.
