I just recently (Sept 2015) accepted a position in a long term care setting. Since my hire I have increased collections up to 20% in all four buildings that I covered. I received a nice xmas bonus for my efforts. Just recently we had to write off uncollectable money from Jan-July. Large amounts I might add. This was all before my time. Now today I come to work and I have been basically demoted I'm told because of their early year losses. In my place they have already hired a replacement. I was told they can offer me a severance package. I feel this is a malicious attack as well as retaliation for their losses. I was never given a 90 day review. Is this legal?
