I have been employed over a year with this organization. The owner on any given day will harass certain employees, but has been fixated on me for months, making it difficult to do my job because I am so stressed. He purposely calls me out in staff meetings and then tries to embarrass or berates me in front of the staff. He has important meetings and leaves me off of memos then other departments heads question why I haven’t attended causing problems with other staff members. I am always stressed because I never know what lie he has told staff members. He pits me against others so they can side with him. It doesn’t usually work, but it is such a hostile environment. I spoke with HR and another executive and both have advised me to seek legal help. Do I have any legal recourse?
