I have an employee that was demoted to another position due to performance. He didn't work his shift after the demotion. A letter was sent letting him know that he was expected to report to his shift the next day. He still didn't show or call. A letter was sent stating he had voluntarily resigned from position due to the no call no shows. Day 4 he provided a doctor's note stating he couldn't return to work. Do we have to reinstate this employee?
