I gave my 2 week notice then recended it can they say no when they need people in my specialty
They told me no and Im 45, two times in 2 years a 20 year old did it and came back for the 3rd time and he is still working there now. I also have proof of gender and racial discrimination in that workplace and they are huge in the manufacturing field.I

I would include the difference in treatment in your discussions with the employer. If they do not allow you back file a charge of age discrimination with the EEOC and see an employment lawyer.
