I was employed by HealthEast Hospice. While employed there, I felt that they were biased against me/my nursing practice, among many other things, and was terminated. I filed for unemployment and it was awarded. HealthEast appealed it and lost, filed for reconsideration and lost. Roughly a month later, I received a letter from the MN Board of Nursing stating that it received reports of nursing practice issues from HealthEast. I feel that this is a form of retaliation/slander/defamation because they lost their appeal cases for my unemployment.
