Help Help Help

I was wondering, I own a small employment service that I started in 1999 . At the time I hired on my stepmom and as it grew I hired on my half sister. They both signed no compete clause with me . 2 years ago I hired my stepmom's brother to run dispatch for me and let my sister go . She rented out an office from me and started her own employment service doing warehouse and general labor temps. As I do Only truck drivers. About a year has gone by and I had to fire the stepmom , because they all where sitting around at night talking on how to take my business. I found out . Fired Step mom , kicked out sister , and kept the dispatcher on. They open there office about 1 mile from my business and started contact my clients and my employees , bad mouthing me and trying to shut me down , along with making threats against me. This past week I had to fire the other dispatcher My step moms brother and he for using my employees for filling there job needs and telling my employes that he was going down to their business and was taking everything I had. Immediatly they all together got on the phone with my customer base , trying to do damages to me , along with my employees . Please tell me what can I do . Isn't this theft , since they stole my list and my employee files, and their no compete clause out of my office. Isnt there a law that protects me? The employer for the slandar and defamation of character

non-compete

You may have several claims against the former employees. If they took the customer list, you have a claim for conversion. If they say something untur about you that is untrue, you may have a case for defamation. You may also have a case of tortious interference with your business. I would seek a local attorney to see about pursuing your claims.
