Fmla also Ada

Im a CNA and im confused my employer said I didn't qualify for FMLA I was 16 hours. But did give me a medical leave of absence which isn't that kind of the same thing I had to have knee surgery from an ACL and meniscus tear that I believe was done at work. My mistake was not reporting it to them. I actually kept working on it and they were aware I had injury. I seen Dr he restricted me to lite duty referrrd me to specialist. My employer allowed me to work lite duty. But the pain was incredible and my my whole leg was swollen. I was taken off work in May 2016 I applied for fmla and was denied not enough hours at first I was approved but then denied. well we are required to have a scheduling app on phone that also sends us msges and told we had to check our apps all the time for msgs and respond. But not on clock but could this time count? Well they gave me a medical leave until the sept 1 20I6. Also received my STD which are now suspended. I had surgery doing therspy and can go back lite duty temp while i complete therapy. They denied me aand told me to find a job that i can do with my restrictions. So what Im asking is do I have any rights? I have emails, text messages supporting also picture of our scheduking app that says im approved for leave. please let me know if im wasting my time. because i need my income since they wont let me work and suspeneded my std Im screwed. thank you sincerely sherrie
