Does receiving a severance package effect Oklahoma U.I.?
A reduction of work force after six years, I was laid off. The company offered me a Severance package. What is the law as far as getting my unemployment Insurance? I had filed on the day that I was laid off but didn't have the information about the package at the time that I filed. My claim is held up. At present it is impossible to get a live UI agent.
