Do i have to answer my employer's questions,

I have been out of work on disability leave for a mental health issue. My employer, a church/ child care, knows exactly why I was out even though i didn't tell them, i feel that my mother in law, who is my boss has shared info to the church. I am cleared from my doctor to return back to work Monday. But my boss's boss asked me to come in tomorrow to ask me questions pertaining my leave. And from what i was told, she wants to evaluate me herself to see if i'm able to come back to work. My concern is that if i was not related to my boss, like all of the other staff, that the church would not known every thing about my claim, they would have only found out that i had an bipolar depression episode. I know what happened is very extreme. My question is can them ask me information about my disability and /or illness if I have a clean bill of health from my doctor, or are they maybe crossing the line asking me questions pertaining my disability.
