Do I qualify for unemployment benefits?
I receive a pension from the State Teachers Retirement System. For the past 5 and 1/2 years I have worked parttime for a non-profit organization. We have been told our division is closing down by late April or early May of 2011. Do I qualify for unemployment until I find another position?

It is not an easy question as the presence of an STRS pension may allow ODJFS to decide that you are retired and therefore ineligible for benefits. I do not know how much and how parttime the work is to make a judgment on this.
