Changed Vacation Earned Date.
My company (located in CA) changed form issuing vacation on our anniversary to every January 1st. it is now the 7th I put in my "two week notice" and i have 104 Hours of vacation time in my vacation vault. I asked to take a day off and it was denied because "I haven't accrued vacation days yet and if i take the day it will be "deducted" from my last pay check. Doesn't the law state other wise? and are the required to pay me out on my vacation and not my sick days?
