Can you be fired for a pending charge if it is not a felony?

I recently have a pending misdemeanor charge which is going to be completely erased after a year. After I received this pending charge I applied for a job and it asked if I have ever been convicted of a felony and I checked no. I did however tell my boss that I had a pending misdemeanor and she said that shouldnt be a problem. I was hired for the job and they moved me my husband and our two year old son on site. After a week of working there they asked what was on my record so I sent over every piece of paperwork that I had of the charge which is the ONLY thing on my record. After a month of working there I was admitted to the hospital on a sunday and called to work on that Monday. I went into work Tuesday and was told that I was fired due my criminal record and had 24 hours to move out but because I war just released from the hospital they would give me 72 hours. I wasnt even suppose to be back at work until 4 days after this happened because of pain/medication/restrictions and ended up having to move my family and son out during those days. If I didnt lie on the application, told them about the case and they hired me is there any way that I have a claim against them?
