Can my employer move me to another position if i am on intermittend leave?
I have fmla intermittend leave and every time i take a day off i provide a doctors note to my supervisor. My leaves caused for my supervisor and HR to move me from position because they said that i was in a critical position which was receiving material and data entry and i was placed in a crate shop position, cuttingcarrying wood, using nail guns, and making different size crates all day. I went through my employers policy and it says that some one in intermittend leave could be moved but my question is to a totally different position that requires a lot of physical work? There is a catch, that everyone in that warehouse has the tittle of material handler and thats is why i havent said anything. One last question, i applied within the same company for another position of coordinator and when they interview me my supervisor said that if i could make arrangements for some one else to take care of my wife because they needed some one that was going to be there at all times. When i wad called for the follow up meeting they said that i wasnt consider for the application because they needed some one that could be there at all times, but if i am not there is because mu fmla and i think that because of my fmla my application was denied.
