Can my co. (CA based) deduct from my accrued vacation hours; because they have just changed our office hours from 45-40hr. work weeks. I understand it accruing would change moving froward, but can they retroactively?
The studio I work for allows employees to accrue vacation hours. I was accruing up to 20/days a year based on a 45hr. work wk. The company just switched most employees to 40hr work wks, and because of this my accrued vacation hours have been deducted.
