Can dentist A sue dentist B if I an office worker went to work for dentist B

My wife works for a dentist A who has employed another dentist B who signed a non compete contract. The dentist B will be starting her own practice. I have not signed a non compete contract since I am just a office worker. If I went to work for dentist B could B dentist sue her and prevail?
