Can co-worker be sue for filing false police report of slander/defamation with VA police department?
An LPN nurse within the VA dermatology clinic, where I worked also, went to VA police dept. making a report stating I had told him I hated him and wanted to kill him. Management is currently, since 5/8/19, doing a fact finding w/o response as of date. I did not make any such statements. I was removed from the dermatology clinic awaiting decision of fact finding. I never stated either of those statements, not to him or any other employee. Can I sue him for slander, criminal intent, defamation of character, etc... since this happened on federal property??
