Can an employer in Maryland legally require an employee to use 15 minutes of his or her earned vacation time for a 5-minute lateness?
If an employer maintains a zero-tolerance policy on lateness with a consequence of forced vacation time use, must said employer require the late employee to use only the vacation time equivalent to that of the lateness, or may that employer take more vacation time away?
