Can I have someone review my severance package?
I was furloughed in April and now our organization has had a group layoff this week. They have offered a Severance Package of 4 weeks for me. It was based on years of service. I am 67 years old and wanted to work another 5 years. There are no jobs in my field as well as no comparable salaries. I would like to have my severance package reviewed to make sure I am getting what I deserve. They have laid off all the older employees and asking us to sign. If we contest, I may loose what they have offered. Julie
