Can I bring a lawsuit against a co-worker for slander and spreading lies about me ?

For the past +/- six months, a co-worker has accused me of being paranoid and has spoken untruths about me to our fellow co-workers. This co-worker has accused me of being paranoid to my face, in front of mutal co-workers and most recently accused me while in a meeting with a supervisor, Human resource director and mutual co-workers. I had called the meeting in order to make the harassment stop. Throughout the meeting she denied all accusations, until the very end.. she said you are paranoid! Long story short my supervisors will let me know what is going to take place to resolve the problem. I asked
