Can I be fired by filling out Injury reports?
I am a blue collar worker at a Fortune 500 paper company. Like many companies they have down sized. First the boss came to the machine forcing up run time. Then, where there were 3 people per machine, now there are 2, squeezing in more work. Many are complaining of back/shoulder pains. Women cry, men want to. I filled out injury reports of my sprains/strains and now they asked me to fill out a paper that says I may be asked to go see a Dr. to see if I am fit for the job after 26 years of service. they have also implemented forced daily and weekend overtime. Will I be out to pasture at 50+ years old ?
