FSLA changes base salary amount.

My job responsibilities stay the same but, I am going from salary exempt to hourly non-exempt because it was determined that it would cost the company too much to raise all supervisors to the base amount.

I was told that I cannot work or sign-up for overtime outside of my home department. This is for all supervisors because we make too much hourly.

If overtime is needed and no one signs up, then it will be up to the warehouse manager to allow supervisor overtime. Aslo, warehouse management can decide to make us work whenever and wherever they want based on business needs.

If overtime is available, can they deny me the opportunity based on my hourly rate?
