Am I legally able to be denied a job because of my hair color?
I dyed my hair dark red and it looks natural. The employer told me my hair was an extreme color and that only black, brown, and blonde were acceptable. He said my hair has to be natural color. I asked him if any shade of red is acceptable and he sent me a picture of the colors accepted and my hair matches the auburn color in the picture. He said they would send an email for the background check but I haven't received anything. What should I do?
