Am I entitle to back pay
I was notified that I was being paid less than my peers with similar skill set so I was getting a wage adjustment.
There was a restructure and job title change. My question, am I entitled to back pay from the time my title change or when management realize I was underpaid?
This is what I was told:
All I can say is that the adjustments were based on a salary survey where the executives identified we had some people making less than what people with similar skill sets are making. The adjustments were a result of that exercise.
