I was scheduled at 5am and my car broke down on the way there. I was fired for a no call no show even though I called twice before my shift started and two other time that day. My boss was on vacation at the time and a guy I never met before suspended me pending an investigation the next day even though He asked me to prove I called before my shift began and i showed him my call log as proof. He calked me a couple days later and told me to be at the store at 11am the next day. When I got there I told the store director I didnt think it should be considered a no call no show. He looked at his computer then said its out of our hands. Then some lady that had just started there told me I was terminated. They refuse to give me a seperation letter so I hand delivered to written letters. One requesting to see my personnel file and one requesting a service letter along with Washington State codes. A month later I received a letter telling me my file was sent to the store and to call the store director to see it. The letter also stated "We do not supply a form with seperation information." What I wanted to see in my file was what Kevin said and what their "investigation" uncovered. When I went to review my file nothing about my termination was in it. When I asked why they werent in it I was told there in the back of the file. I looked and looked again. The looked he didnt either and no one seems to know where the papers went.
