why don't we have a choice as to paying into unemployment. I worked 19 yrs for the same company and was terminated and denied benefits.
I was terminated because I failed a drug test. I was cleaned before I smoked, had an accident 3 days later, which was not my fault. I understand being fired. I don't think I should have been denied after paying into it for over 19 years.
