how log does a employer have to furnish access to paystubs

I worked at a place. They use direct deposit. I didn't receive paystubs for most of the year because they didn't have time or "couldn't " fix it. I asked employer and was told they would have office manager fix it. And then asked OM. Was told ok ya..... or later or next check. Then that the accountant had to fix it. Then asked the boss again ...this went on repeatedly for many months. I did not receive detailed check stubs for approx 6 to 8 months of last year and have no access to them. They said because my email was entered wrong. The new office manager took my new email I created to deal with that situation and started sending them finally in the fall. I noticed discrepancies and rather than raise alarm I asked for copies of my check stubs > it's tax time. Either printed or email. Our law states they have to be available at pay date. To me they have never been available. I would like to see them. I put in a formal request with a one week time window on it a week and a half ago. I asked again and was ignored. I asked about the pay rate issue and was suspended for a *unrelated issue the same evening 12 hours later. My question is. 1 I thought a employer had to have proof of pay stubs and or time cards in WI for a period of 2 years for review if needed and requested. 2. Can they with old that information from me? 3. Is it lawful especially now that they know I haven't seen them to refuse to print them or email them? 4. I was told they couldn't print them all. That I would just get a summary. Is this legal?
5. I know it's not necessary but I really do know I work alot more hours than I bill for. I also just for arguments sake need to know my hours worked for the year. Without paystubs I cannot average this. I should also note that I work in several different departments for the same shop. I have several pay rates. Sometimes paystubs are the only thing we can do to prove we aren't having a affair. If one works more hours or many many hours at low wage and only a few at premium wage.... family thinks I'm stepping out. I'd like to prove them wrong. AND I'm not BTW! But I'd also like to prove and or evaluate if I am actually being underpaid in 2 ways or just 1.
