can an employer force you to get approval for intermitent fmla from a third party administrator on a day to day basis?

I was recently terminated from my job because our company's third party they hired sent recertification updates for renewing fmla to the wrong address. no warning was given by my company that paperwork wasn't submitted although they were notified by the third party. instead they waited a month after their notification and after I brought allegations of harassment and discrimination against coworkers, to terminate me for taking fmla and saying the reason why was because the recertification paperwork wasn't returned. What are my options as to getting my job back?
