My Sister-in-Law was fired 14mths before her retirement goes into effect, She asked to be moved to a new department or store, the Manager said he chose not to do that for her. Her department was closed in her store. Does she have any legal recourse? what about her pension?

at will employment

Dear Ms Stone: It all depends upon the full set of facts. Was the whole department closed? Is that why she lost her job? How big was the department? What happened to others in the department? etc. She can call me and I will discuss the facts without charge and see if there is a possible case.
