With the new Chicago Paid Sick Leave Ordinance in place, does an employer with PTO policy need to allow a separate sick carryover?
Current company PTO policy allows a 5 day (40 hour) carryover. What revisions are needed to allow employees to carryover sick/fmla specific time? The employer would like to make sick carryover designation and continue with a PTO plan. How many hours is required to carryover for PTO and sick?
