Will cashing in a 401k, early with penalty, will it effect unemployment.
I was on short term disability 8/9 - 11/11 (surgery lumbar issue)released to return to work but couldn't go back (copd, emphysema, asthma)as I had VERY shortness of breath. I work in a factory, fast pace, production. 22 yrs employed.
I've now been fired as Drs didn't get forms back to short term disability & I was fired for attendance. Now am filing for SSDI. Also medical assistance through State of Michigan. Can I file unemployment benefits while waiting on state help. I lost my medical ins when fired.
